Tabitha St Germain
Tabitha St Germain is a voice actress, and former radio/theatre actress, perhaps best known for her roles in animated series such as Martha in Martha Speaks, Scary Godmother(in Scary Godmother,) and as Rarity, Luna, Granny Smith anda host of others in the hit series My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic.
She lives and works in Vancouver B.C. Is an avid gardener and cat perch.
Early life: Tabitha was born in Boston and moved in early life to Africa. Her adoptive parents, both in education (a university professor and a schoolteacher) lived at in the then Swaziland (Now Eswatini) and Lesotho.
Working Life: Back in Canada, There was a brief stint as a hostess at the Keg restaurant in Halifax, but she quit when an old Hollywood Movie star tipped her 200 dollars for seating him, as, 'it was not to going to get better than that.’ An ungodly hostess, and even worse waitress,
Tabitha began her non-restaurant working life in Toronto in radio drama and in theatre, starring in such plays as Agnes of God, Crimes of The Heart, Flowers, Noel Coward’s Hay Fever and Private Lives and Steven Sondheim’s Into the Woods . She won awards for roles in The Barber of Seville and later in Vancouver for The Anger in Ernest and Ernestine. Gradually she transitioned from work in the theatre into work in voice-over, and declared theatre ‘A Bad Boyfriend.’
